Dear Mayor Fenik,

I would like to include my name on the list of concerned citizens and business owners
who feel very strongly that our Council is leading Perth on the wrong thoroughfare in the
removal of parking, reconfiguration of traffic flow and creation of a turning lane on the
proposed Wilson Street project.

I believe parking should be maintained and possibly increased, not decreased, in addition
to a beautification of Wilson Street, the gateway to our historic downtown core. We
suggest a project goal similar to the City of Brockville’s King Street project. Slowing
down truck and vehicular traffic on busy Wilson Street will increase safety for all
residents and visitors especially our senior citizens and young children.

Your co-operation along with Town Council is necessary for a better Perth.
