The Better Business Bureau (BBB) Serv ing Mississippi wams tharthis i&prollably a scam. "This type of business practice is taking thousands of dollars out of the pockets of hard wooong people," said Bill Moak, President/CEO of the Mississippi BBB. "Con sumers also receive phone calls or email messages solicit ing for wammty renewals. What they don't tell you is that you probably already have the warranty protection with your current insurance or auto manufacturer's warranty. They are trying to sell something not needed at a very high price." The following should be.considered when evaluating any warranty offers: Although notices look very official and often contain your correct vehicle information - they may actually be bogus. The absence of particular vehicle information could easily indicate a scam. Coverage offered is very limited (not A to Z coverage).
