#UniLifeNOW Recreating Curtin University

Curtin University is reinventing first year for students with the new programme
#UniLifeNOW as students are encouraged to share all of their experiences on social
media using this hashtag to increase enrolment interest form Year 11 and 12 high
school students in 2016 and 2017.

Curtin students are taking to Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat to share their
experiences with their younger friends and to show how much fun campus life can
be while doing the hard yards in starting their careers.

With over 50 different clubs and sports for students to join, Curtin offers a wide range
of programmes for any and all students to join and have fun participating in.

First year student Amelia McCann has experimented with the #UniLifeNOW
programme and has expressed how much she loves using it.

New students dont realise how much there is to do and participate in at Curtin. I
have joined three clubs and play Ultimate Frisbee and it is so much fun taking
pictures and sharing them with everyone.

#UniLifeNOW has opened windows into the lives of current first year students and
allows them to show how much they enjoy Curtin University and what it has to offer
them.

Curtin Guild President Jason Giancono says that the opportunities for new students
are endless and campus life is all about having fun and making new friends while
you study.

With so many activities, clubs and programmes for new students to join Curtin hopes
to be an appealing option for Year 11 and 12 students to enrol at for 2016 and 2017.
