Ingredients

For The Red Layer


2 tsp oil
1 onion chopped
1 capsicum chopped
1 cup tomato puree
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1/2 cup boiled mixed vegetables
1 cup babycorn
salt to taste
For The White Layer
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1 cup milk
1/2 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
salt to taste
freshly ground black pepper powder to taste
For The Green Layer
4 cups spinach (palak)
2 green chillies
Method
For the red layer
1. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, add the onions and capsicum and saute on a
medium flame till the onions turn soft.
2. Add tomato puree, tomato sauce, vegetables and babycorn and mix well.
3. Add salt, mix well and cook for a few minutes.Keep aside.
For the white layer
1. Heat the butter in a non-stick pan, add the plain flour and saute for 1 minute.

2. Add the milk, mix well and cook, while stirring continuously.
3. Add corn,salt and black pepper, mix well and keep aside.
For the green layer
1. Boil spinach in only 2-3 tbsp of water and blend it along
with chiilies.
2. Heat 2 tsp oil in a non-stick pan, add the onions and saute
for few seconds.
3. Add spinach paste,peas and salt, mix well and cook till the
mixture becomes thick. Keep aside.
How to proceed
1. Spread green layer in a baking dish.
2. Top with the white layer.
3. Finally top with red layer and grated cheese.
4. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
5. Serve hot.
