Tata Crucible does not need any introduction to the quizzing community in India. As far as the quality
of the quiz and the hoopla surrounding the event is concerned, people have different opinions. As a
matter of fact even both of us have contrasting views regarding Tata Crucible, its content and various
issues. However, the one fact that both of us do agree upon is, that it is a quiz followed closely by many
quizzers.
We went around looking for a set of questions which have been asked in Crucible but the best we could
find was on Nairs site. Although the collection is quite comprehensive, a large number of questions are
now outdated. Giri has the tendency to ask quite a few questions on current affairs, which we
appreciate, but current affairs of 2007 are not relevant in 2010 or 2020. Also, some quiz bloggers had
posted questions of their cities from memory hence some were without answers, erroneous or ill
framed. So, we decided to take care of these problems and set out with a task to make a database of
questions from Tata Crucible which are relevant today and will be relevant even in 2020, if Tata Crucible
lasts that long. We sure hope it does.
In this document you would find a set of 421 questions** which have been asked in Tata Crucible
Corporate Editions over the years 2006 to 2009. For the list of cities covered have a look at the table
given below:
