    The Mearns Kirk Lunch and Social Club received a £200 donation from Asda. Jen from Asda presented the club with the cheque, which was money collected from green token boxes in the store that customers had supported. The club thanked Asda and its customers for their commitment to the community. Upcoming events at the club include a Hallowe'en party on October 29th and St. Andrew's Day celebrations on November 26th.

    Asda Mearns Cross
    On Thursday we were delighted to welcome Jen along to the club
    where she presented us with a cheque for 200. This donation was a
    result of the support our club received from the green token boxes in
    store. We look forward to working with Jen and Asda in the future.

    St Andrews Day
    Celebrations on

    We will be
    celebrating with a
    special lunch and
    afternoon tea,
    Scottish music and
    poems and maybe
    even some Scottish
    dancing. Remember
    to wear a little tartan
    Our preparations for
    Christmas are well
    under way.

    Jim will be back from his holiday in China this week, and we look forward to his choice of
    music for singing and dancing.
