Considered by his contemporaries to be one of the leading
German composers
Incorporates french and Italian music as well as german
Almost like a round.
Both players play the same piece a bar apart.
Londonderry Air
Tune written by Jane Ross and published in 1855 in a book
called The Ancient Music of Ireland.
The famous words set to the tune are O Danny Boy but
there are a number of other sets of words including local
Irish songs and Hymns that are set to the same tune.
The tune is played as the victory anthem of Northern
Ireland at the Commonwealth Games.

Written by Herbert Clarke originally for Cornet and
Trombone
Written in 1904 for himself on Cornet and Leo Zimmerman
on Trombone
