History and Background
The first J. Christophers restaurant opened in Marietta, Georgia in January 1997.
It was founded by Jay McCann and Chris Brogdon. Since 1997, 23 locations have
opened throughout the greater Atlanta area, Macon, Savannah and Tennessee.

options that differ by community. The newest location is in Athens, Georgia, and it
just recently celebrated its first birthday on April 20, 2015.
J. Christophers is a full-service breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant that offers
a comfortable, friendly atmosphere to its customers. The menu is longer than a
typical brunch restaurant, and it features food such as skillets, omelets, pancakes
and more. There are also specialty season menus that are features throughout the
year.
J. Christophers has won multiple awards throughout its history. In 2013, it was
voted Best Breakfast by INsite Magazine readers.
The company supports multiple philanthropies throughout the year. In the fall, the
restaurants raise money for breast cancer research and Susan G. Komen for the
Cure. Since 2009, J. Christophers has raised $14, 194 to support breast cancer
research and education. In the winter, J. Christophers has an Adopt-a-Family
program, which provides local families with gifts that are donated by the
customers. Since 2008, more than 48 families have been adopted. In the spring,
the restaurants collect donations for Make-a-Wish. In 2014, the restaurants helped
to grant five childrens wishes. During the summer, the restaurants offer a 50
percent discount for Military personnel.
