METHOD OF CONTROLLING EROSIONS AT SLOPE

1. For immediate action, all affected areas shall be applied with cement slurry by pouring
the cement slurry onto the slope surfaces to stabilize soil against erosion.
2. The slopes are then covered with canvas or plastic sheets to protect the earth from
direct contact to soil surface which causes extreme erosions.
3. Steel pegs and gunny sacks filled with sands shall be placed on top of the canvas sheets
to hold them in place.
4. Regular checking shall be done to inspect the canvas sheets from any rips and tears.
Any damages shall be replaced.
