To whom it concerns,
I am the grade one teacher at Providence Christian School in Monarch,
Alberta. I have been teaching for seventeen years, the past thirteen
and a half years at Providence Christian School.
I had the privilege of working with Ms. Allison Visser for eight weeks,
beginning in May 2015. My classroom was made up of eleven students
with varying needs and abilities. Ms. Visser taught several periods,
worked with small groups and individual students.
Ms. Visser competently led or assisted students as needed. She was
able to adapt to changes in plans and situations easily. When plans
changed unexpectedly, she was able to find appropriate work to do in
the classroom, or with other teachers in the school. Ms. Visser
handled herself professionally, asking for assistance when needed, and
professional critique with her work in my classroom. The students
responded well and respectfully to her assistance or instruction. Mrs.
Visser spoke respectfully to the students, gave clear instructions, and
was able to assist individuals, lead small and large groups capably. She
arrived punctually each day, interacted with students and staff
appropriately.
I would happily recommend Ms. Visser to be a valuable asset to a school
community, who consistently carried out her responsibilities
professionally, and was a pleasure to work with.
Respectfully,
Mrs. Kathleen Bolink
Grade One teacher
