1.cINT ± URBAN CELLAR BAR

A middle aged man called JACQUES is sitting at a bar smoking

a cigarette and drinking a glass of whisky.

I can¶t remember how long it¶s been

Everyday seems the same,

Each day I ask myself why.

Sometimes I can¶t tell whether it¶s my weakness or my

strength.

The urge can become so hard to suppress, the substitute can

keep it off but it¶s never as good as the real thing.

I don¶t remember much before it happened; simple things like

my last walk in the sun or the fresh wind blowing on my face
are just a blur.

All I remember is the cold I felt when it happened, the fierce

pain that ran through me and my last breath of life.

2.cEXT. ± ALLEY WAY. (FLASHBACK)

JACQUES is walking down the alley and confronts a young male

vampire biting a teenage girl.

Hey, what the hell are you doing?

VAMPIRE

You don¶t want to get involved here friend, I suggest you fuck
off.

JACQUES

Right son, I¶m placing you under arrest.

The VAMPIRE drops the GIRL and she falls on the ground and
then he grabs Jacques by throat.

VAMPIRE

I told you

The vampire bites JACQUES and runs off. JACQUES holds his neck
and falls to the floor shaking his eyes turn red and he grows
vampire fangs.

The FLASHBACK fades out back to the bar by zooming into

JACQUES eye and zooming out and shows him sitting in the bar.

3.cINT. URBAN CELLAR BAR

JACQUES
(VOICEOVER)

It¶s a strange feeling waking up dead.

Almost like being reborn and yet knowing it¶s not the
beginning.

Was it a second chance?

A fresh start?

I have to ask myself do I use it for good or evil.

To protect the innocent or do I stop the unbearable I have to
feed.

JACQUES stubs out his cigarette in the ash tray and stands up
putting on his trilby hat.

Sometimes I¶m not sure.

My name is JACQUES and this is my story.

He walks up the stairs out of the bar and light fades .
