Project Proposal: Veg Street


Background
In MUIDS, There are some environmental problems, such as there are many plastic
bottles were thrown away in the bin uselessly. So our class has come up with an idea
about turn those useless water bottles into USEFUL water bottles. We would like to
collaborate with the other class by using those useless plastic water bottles that the
other class will be collecting, as our plants container and we will place them in front of
the cafeteria.

Objectives

To make sure that every students and staffs in MUIDS have healthy food for
lunch.
To recycle the plastic bottles
To give students opportunities to show their creativity

Scope
Our goal for this project is to plant various kinds of vegetable for cooking schools
lunch and to recycle plastic bottles that are thrown away everyday uselessly by using
them as a flowerpot for planting our vegetables.

We want to plant enough vegetables for the cookers to cook lunch for every student
and stuff in MUIDS (about 60-100 pots). We also hope that everyone will have clean
and chemical-free vegetables to eat and the amount of thrown plastic bottles will
reduce from before the project.
