Roughridersreceivingthehighestnumberofvotes.Becausenooptionreceivedamajorityofvotes(over50
percent),afinalrunoffvotebetweenthesetwonameswillbeheldforeligiblevotersbeginningThursday,
Nov.12atnoonCentralTime,andconcludingat11:59p.m.CentralTimeonMonday,Nov.16.
TherunoffvoteendingFridaynight,Nov.6,at11:59p.m.CentralTimeyieldedthefollowingresults:

Roughriders:7,400(27.95percent)
Nodaks:6,981(26.36percent)
Becausepublicawarenessandinterestishigh,UNDwantedtoimplementthefinalvoteasquicklyas
possible.ThevotewillbeginafterVeteransDaysothattelephonesupportpersonnelcanbeavailable
duringregularbusinesshourstoassistvoterswithquestions.ItwillconcludeonNov.16andUNDexpects
toannouncethewinnerlaterthatweek.
Onceagain,thevotewillbeconductedthroughQualtrics,thethirdpartyonlinevotingplatformproviderthat
managedthepreliminarynicknamevotes.Votingwillfollowthesameprocessusedforthepreliminary
votes,andwillbeopentothefollowinggroups:

fromQualtricswithvotinginstructions.Thiswillbeadifferentemailthantheonevotersreceivedforthe
previoustwovotes.TheemailwillcomefromQualtricsandthetitlelinewillsayFinalUNDRunoffVote.
Votersshouldonceagainretainthisemailsothattheycanfollowthevotinginstructionsitcontainswhen
thevotingperiodopens.Eligiblevotersareencouragedtochecktheirjunkmail/spamfoldersiftheydonot
seetheQualtricsemailintheirinbox.
