Mrs. Cox's Kindergarten class has parent-teacher conferences scheduled for next week on Thursday evening and Friday morning. She provides the conference times that were sent home and offers to provide room numbers for other teachers if parents would like to meet with them. At conferences, the teacher will share Kindergarten Learning Expectations, fall assessment results, and the first unit test in math. The newsletter also reminds parents about an upcoming Halloween party on October 30th where students can wear costumes and notes that some parents have volunteered to provide drinks and treats. It concludes by listing important upcoming dates, including conferences, early release days, and days with no school.

October 16, 2015 Conferences are next week on Thursday night and Friday morning. All students brought home a conference time in their folder. If you do not know your time please call me at Clay at 361-2442 ext. 2106. All teachers will be in the building if you would like to meet with the music, gym, and art teachers. I can give you those room numbers at our conference if you would like. Kindergarten Learning Expectations will be handed out at conferences. Also, we will have our fall PALS results and our first unit test in math to share. Homework did not go home this week. That does not happen very often so sorry for any confusion. Please do try to read every day with your child. It is so important at this age. Halloween Party is coming up on October 30. Students can bring a costume to school in a bag to put on at 1:45. Simple costumes work the best with 17 students. Three parents have volunteered to bring drinks and treats for our party. Zariyah is bringing a beverage, Sawyer and Addison are bringing treats. Anyone else that would like to send something may do so.
