Students will color shapes on a paper a specific color to show if they know a
shapes name (whole group- Monday). Teachers will use this data to
determine which shapes need to be taught/retaught.
OTHER EVIDENCE: daily checks on shape booklet to determine if they are

able to independently and correctly answer each section on individual


shapes.
Summative Assessment
Students will be able to identify 2d shapes by name given various sizes and
angles of the shapes. Students will be required (by Friday) to take a picture
at their home or community and post it to the google classroom page. They
must explain what shapes they see in the picture of their environment and
explain how they know it is that shape.
