The cyclists in the Tour de France are passing
by Spijkenisse and the Carlton Oasis! This
is such an event that the General Manager
of the Carlton Oasis, Frederik Reimers,
who will be accommodating three cycling
teams in his hotel, will be rising to the
occasion. He says “The area around the
Carlton Oasis is one of the best places for
cycling, so we’ll be organising special ‘Tour
Routes’.” The hotel guests can explore
the area along bike routes around the
Carlton Oasis, just like the Tour de France
participants! From their ideal location,
the hotel is able to offer the best of both
worlds: the dynamism of the metropolis
and the rural tranquillity of Zeeland.

The Brielse Lakes Route (38 km)
The Brielse Lakes Route takes you past
the banks of the recreation area of the
same name and past Oostvoornse Lake.
The route is characterised by the cheer-
ful sight of yachts on the water.
Waterring Route (39 km)
The Waterring Route is full of contrasts.
The city and the countryside are com-
bined in this cycling route. The trip is
named after the ring of water that liter-
ally runs along the outside of the route.
7 Dykes Route (28 km)
Cycling along the centuries-old winding
dykes, past grand farm houses and old
villages, across the flat polder landscape,
you will be imbued with the tranquillity
of rural Voorne-Putten.
Voorne Route (approx. 45 km)
The Voorne Route goes along the west-
ern part of Voorne. The route takes you
past the fortified cities of Brielle and
Hellevoetsluis.
