Mythology
Storyboard a Myth
Before we begin reading The Odyssey, it is important to continue building our
background knowledge of mythology. To do this, you will create a storyboard and
present it to the class to explain one myth. With a partner, you will choose a myth
from the list below and read over it together. Next, you will summarize the story in
eight main points on the back of this sheet. Once you have finished summarizing
the story in eight points, you will draft your storyboard, also on the back of this
sheet. You will create a square for each main point of the story and attach this to a
poster to create your finalized storyboard. Your storyboard should be written in
narrative form, so it is as if you are telling the story yourself. Your storyboard will
need to include the following:
-
A title
Eight squares
o A picture
o Two-three sentences describing what is happening in this scene
Should be either typed or written in pen
o Each square should be numbered to indicate order
Use of color
Must be on a poster
