1. INT: HALL WAY. DAY

THE CAMERA slowly zooms in on the door of the interrogations
room EXTERIOR.
2. INT: INTERROGATION ROOM. DAY
CAMERA slowly zooming out of interrogation rooms door
INTERIOR. We see two cops (BURT and ERNIE) pacing the room and
stretching as if they have been in this room for a long time.
Opposite them sitting at a table is their suspect (OSCAR) who
is relaxed and calm and remaining silent. ERNIE points to a
piece of paper and pen sitting on the table in front of OSCAR.
BURT
C'mon Grouch sign it. We know you
killed that little girl. You're
DNA is all over her.
ERNIE
Maybe if you didn't piss on the
body you would have got away with
it.
OSCAR spits at ERNIE causing ERNIE to try and attack him only
to be held back by BURT.
BURT
Cut it out.
ERNIE
C'mon Burt that piece of shit
deserves it.
BURT
Yeah Ernie you're right. But it
won't be from our hand.
BURT turns to OSCAR in anger.
BURT
You'll sign the confession and you'll
go to prison for the rest of your
life shithead. I'll make sure you
don't get the death penalty oh no
that'll be too easy. You'll suffer

for what you did to that little girl.

The inmates at Sesame will chew you
up and spit you out and then some.
OSCAR leans in to BURTS face with an expressionless gaze and
whispers in his ear.
OSCAR
She moaned like a dog before I
snapped her neck...
Suddenly BURT reaches for OSCAR cussing him as ERNIE takes
hold of his partner and drags him out of the interrogation
room.
3. INT: HALL WAY. DAY
BURT and ERNIE sit in the hall way outside the interrogation
room drinking coffee staring into thin air looking hopeless.
ERNIE takes out a business card from his wallet and hands it
to BURT.
BURT
What's this?
ERNIE
It's our only way of getting him
to confess
BURT
What?
ERNIE
Listen. This guy can get anyone
to confess even if they were
innocent
BURT
What are you talking about?
ERNIE
The guy on that card, he does
special jobs for a price. He's
called a Persuader.

BURT reads aloud the name on the card.

BURT
Big Bird?
ERNIE
He's government, Elmo said...
BURT
Elmo said?! Government? Special
jobs? What the fuck is this?
ERNIE
Burt shut up! You want this guy
to go to prison don't you?
BURT
Yeah?
ERNIE
Then just call him. He collects
the payments in instalments so
don't worry. And another thing.
He's got a pass.
BURT quickly looks up at ERNIE in disbelief as he says this.
4. INT: HALL WAY. DAY
A man (Big Bird) marches down the corridor thumping the ground
and making a slapping noise as if to be in a rush yet
maintaining structure in his stride. He is wearing a suit and
seems to be well groomed carrying a brown paper bag. He
approaches BURT and ERNIE still sitting in the hall way. They
immediately stand to attention as the man reaches them.
BIG BIRD
Where is he?
ERNIE
In here Mister Bird. Oscar the
Grouch. Child killer.

ERNIE points to the door of the interrogation room. BIG BIRD

then enters the room and slams the door on the faces of BURT
and ERNIE as they naively attempted to follow.
5. INT: INTERROGATION ROOM. DAY
BIG BIRD stands and stares at OSCAR for a moment then walks
towards the table, sets the paper bag on the table and drags
the chair opposite OSCAR to the back of the room further away
from the table. He takes out of his pocket a packet of
cigarettes and a lighter and places them on the seat of the
chair. He begins to strip. He takes off his jacket, then
shirt, tie, shoes and trousers until he is left wearing only a
vest, shorts and socks. OSCAR watches in confusion. He neatly
holds his clothes and places them over the back of the chair.
He then approaches the table in a calm manner and reaches into
the bag, moving his hand about as if struggling to find
something small at the bottom.
OSCAR
What the fuck are you do...
In an instant BIG BIRD pulled a hammer from the bag and
smashed OSCARS' hand in a single blow. OSCAR screams and
struggles to catch his breath as he sits in shock and pain.
OSCAR
What the fuck are you doing! I'm
going to kill you!
BIG BIRD in a fit of rage throws the table out his way and
begins beating OSCAR into a corner his the hammer as he falls
from the chair.
CAMERA zooms in slowly on BIG BIRDS chair. We hear the sounds
of the beating occurring.
OSCAR
Stop it. Please stop.
BIG BIRD
Sign it! Sign it scum bag! Sign
the fucking page!

We hear the murmurs of OSCAR as he struggles with the pain.

BIG BIRD enters the frame by returning to the chair studying
the blood splattered testimony. He sits down, sparks his
cigarette and crosses his legs.
CAMERA slowly zooms out to reveal the rest of the room and
returning to our first shot of the room.
BIG BIRD puts out his cigarette and begins to dress himself.
He then approaches the table and puts his hammer back into the
paper bag. He takes one last look at OSCAR the same one as
before and then leaves the room. The door slams.
CUT TO:

Black. Credits. Music.
