Hahn, Dooley became

friends while serving

We proudly salute the efforts of

our proud and strong Veterans.

Private Warren Hahn, left, Atlanta, poses with his military friend Larry Dooley,
from Iowa. Dooley came home to Atlanta with Hahn for a three-day leave at
Christmas 1958. They were stationed together at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., at the
time. Following Hahn's stay at Ft. Leonard Wood, he transferred to radio school
at Ft. Jackson, S.C. He served six months active duty and the rest of his 6-1/2
year commitment in the Army Reserves as a Private First Class. He and Dooley
have stayed in occasional contact.
