Living Quarters and Buildings-Jacynda

Since our culture is in Germany, it is covered in thick forests so all the homes are made
of the strong wood and bark of the trees surrounding them. And because of the excessive
amount of rainfall, the roofs have to be very sturdy and able to hold up during storms. The
walls also have to be very powerful to be able to carry and keep up the roof. There are
woven floors made of wood or long, thick plants. The beds consist of a pile of a woven mat
with a pile of soft grass on it. The blankets that are used to keep warm is animal hide from
previous hunts. Each person in the home has their own blanket, mat, and grass pile. To keep
from being itchy, a layer of another skin hide is placed over it.

Living Quarters and buildings page 2-Jacynda

When celebrating religious ceremonies, everyone from the tribe must go to a certain
building to begin. It is a tall, wide building that is made from the strongest and eldest bark
created by the sacred tree that the culture treasures. The people who make these buildings
and homes, are the most educated members about building and construction. Since each child
must be educated, the school of the village, is held outside near a small structure that is
used for the smaller students who have not been assigned a job. All the children who have,
learn their skills outdoors. There is also a separate building for people who need health care.
That structure is a big area where the environment is much more safe and healthy so the
people inside the building wont get anymore sick than they already are.

Economy and Currency: Marisol W.

Instruments and art is very valuable in this culture. Instruments are very valuable because this
culture can be very musical at dinner and other random times. The reason art is very valuable is
because it is actually really difficult to make art. You would have to be very talented. At least one
family member is an artists. Gold coins is there money. Bronze coins are very rare to have and
worth a lot of money. On the 5th of each month they have a trading spot. If you need to trade for
something very important and its not the 5th, you have to go the the chief to ask for permission.
Anything is pretty much considered successful. There isnt a lot to do for a career. Astonishedly, if
its a stay at home job it is more successful than others. It means youre pretty much working all
day.

Clothing- Thaomi
The Kabachuchuu tribe is very special because on weddings they wear dear fur and bear fur. Men wear bear fur because
it represents strength and courage just like a bear. Woman wear dear fur because it represents gracefulness,
creativity, and intelligence.
For the funerals they wear badgers fur because badgers have a white streak down its back and thats what the
Kubachuchuu tribe needs to wear for a special funeral. They try to wear as much white as they can find, its a tradition.
For the holiday, Chu Chuu, they try to wear bright colors such as flowers like the cornflower or they wear the marsh
marigold flower. For the other holiday Hatzing they wear whatever they like to wear, but in one condition it has to be
something fur related.
On the Kubachuchuu`s special occupation the womens wear hats made out of flowers and for the mens they wear hats
made out of plants. The clothes they wear aren`t
that special they actually can wear anything
they want to.

Education: Marisol W.
Children start school at the age 4 and 5. Theyre educated in groups, so they can learn social
skills, too. All schools start and end at 9:00 a.m- 1:25. School is 4 hours and 25 minutes. There is a
total of 58 teachers in this culture. Theyre the smartest in the culture, and they like to teach in
fun ways. Students dont sit in a desk all day, they involve a game in the lessons. Children learn
survival skills from their parents or other family members. The parents teach different things, for
example: Dad: hunt, Mom: make food, Both: sharpen weapons. Some survival skills are: how to
build your own shelter, how to sharpen your weapon, hunting, and karate. This culture doesnt use
textbooks in school. The desks are made out of drums, and when a student has a question they do a
certain beat on their desk.

Toys, Games, and Sports - Josh

In our tribe we play WITH toys that are mostly made out of wood. the
most played and popular game to do in our tribe is the wood carving.
This is the most played because you can play at any age and its fun to
carve sculptures in the tribe. the soldiers could also carve some
wood dummies and use them for training. The purpose for this is that
the person who makes a good carving and a great abstract of what
their idea is. The judge in the game is the oldest kid because the chief
would be too busy to judge. Also the winner will get a sculpture of a
person carving a sculpture and the sculpture will have a tiny person
that is carving. It goes small, smaller, smallest.

Defensive and Protection- Josh & Justin

Our tribe uses nunchucks made of wood from the nearby forest, swords made from stone, battle claws made of stone
and fitted onto the warriors fingers with leather strips, knives for close combat, spears made specifically for redskin
deer, whips made of leather to train foxes in the forest to become fighting dogs and hunting dogs, also in torture
when we take a prisoner. And the last one, we use shields made out of stone/wood*.

Food and preparation-Jacynda

Some special food that are commonly used in the Kubuchuchuu tribe, are salmon, carp, and the wild animals
that are found in the forest. Such as deer, red foxes, hare, weasel, boar, wildcat, badger, and bears. Often
plants are used for seasoning, medicine or just for eating. Some plants that live in the area are cornflower,
silverbirch, marsh marigold, chamomile, and greenspire.
Usually, the children who are most educated about plants will go and search and gather them for meals.
For hunting the large animals that roam the forest, a group of people (men and women) are sent out to catch and
kill the animals for eating. After the hunting period has passed, they go back to their tribe and divide the hunt
for each family to feed their children and spouses. Each meal is served at dawn, after chores and cleaning is
done, and after everyone has finished work and school.Every meal is cooked in an area outside the homes that
basically is firewood in the center, and large rocks surrounding it.There are two sticks on each side of the rocks
and another stick that goes across and hold a pot on it.
Once all the food is cooked the whole family sits down and prays to the gods who have gifted them for the food
they are about to receive. Everyone enjoying the meal must be polite at
all times or will be not served the meal.
