Story Setting

The story begins in the beautiful and glorious Spanish empire. Isabellas
courtyard is bright and beautiful with Spanish architecture and art. This story takes
place in the year of 1476 in Madrid. The castle where Isabella stays soars high above the
courtyard. The castle is glorious and clearly shows Isabella's power. It is made entirely
of stone, with battlements, flags and a moat surrounding it. The castle is very similar to
the Castle of La Mota in Spain. The cell where
Theodora and Aragon are at at the beginning of the
game is gloomy and dark with cement floors and wet
walls.
Spain's neighboring country, France, is war
torn is chaotic. The streets are gloomy and muddy
with French civilians screaming and rioting. In the
background of battles, French civilians are being attacked by French army. Buildings
and architecture have turned to rubble and what was once a beautiful and alluring city
full of light and culture, is slowly
turning to dust because of the new
French ruler.
