WEST GEORGIA PRSSA CHAPTER
WHO: The University of Mass Communication Department
WHAT: Press conference to announce the new chapter of PRSSA.
WHERE: The University of West Georgia Campus Center Ballroom Room 108 located
downstairs from the gym

WHEN: April 3, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. A continental breakfast will be served

WHY: The University of West Georgia will announce the new organization to announce a
student initiative called UWG Public Relations Student Society of America. The chapter plans to
organize (in conjunction with other PRSSA chapters and PRSA Georgia) different types of
activities and opportunities for members, including professional development opportunities:
workshops, guest speakers; service activities: volunteering with public relations events and
firms/agencies; and networking opportunities: socials, conference attendance.
