Radio to Celebrate its 5th Anniversary with Pajama Party and Concert
(BOSTON, March 21, 2014)The station is celebrating its 5th anniversary in a big way this year. It
will be hosting a pajama party in Quadside in March where all are welcome. Donations by students
who attend will go to Rosies Place. Also to celebrate, the station will be co-hosting a concert with
the College Activities Board (CAB) in April to send the students off to finals in a positive way. And
with good music from local artists.
Simmons College Radio is a top five finalist for Best Streaming/On-line Only Radio Station of the
year through the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System. The station is also a finalist in the Best Use of
Social Media category.
I am very excited to be celebrating our 5th year. The students run everything themselves, and they
get these awards on their own.Said Professor Len Mailloux, advisor to Simmons College Radio.

Simmons College Radio is a student-run online radio station that broadcasts live events happening
on campus and holds set broadcasts throughout the week.
