As the semester came to an end, I had to read another book and urite another feature
about the events that occuned in that book as well. Again, I received a high grade grade and my
teacher enjoyed reading it. This was zuch a relief for me, I put in a lot of hard work and time into

this prcject and the recognition my teacher gave me completely took a weight

offof my

shoulders and I am so thankful forthe time he took to write his comme'lrts on my work. I also
combined the two features and created m opinion editorial, which was more of a diffficult piece

to create, but it was also a sucressful time for me.

Lastly, we had to presert about our topic to the class and propose our solution for the
social issue we had chose. As nervous as I waro I found comfort in the compliments my teacher
gave on my writing, they helped me build confidence and feel like
suocess as long as

I was going to achieve

I put in effort. My presentation was the best one I had ever gave, even though

it was pushing my comfort zone unlike any other time. I'm thankful for this project pushing my
abilities as a nriter, but also for my teacher who helped showed me a love for literacy leaming
that I never had experienced

before.
