Sag and tension calculation is based on known conditions defined in Sag & Tension Page of line editors. So
configuration should have been considered in the known conditions parameters put in by users.
Attached is a paper for calculating sag and tension similar to the methodology ETAP uses.
Vertical tension is not calculated in ETAP.
