reliesheavilyonthelocalcommunitytakingastrongpassionintheirchildrens
education,whileintensificationreliesonstandardizedtestingandlargeamountsof
material.
ThelastreformdiscussedinPoetterisschoolwidereforms.Schoolwidereforms
focusonreformatalocallevel,likethegrassrootsconception,buthaveequallyasbigof
animpactonawiderandmorenationallevel.Schoolwidereformsvarygreatlyinhow

widereformwouldbeagreatplacetostart.Theseconceptionsarefocusedonbettersthe
studentsexperiencesandmakingtheschoolsystemmoreinclusiveandcommunitylike.
Thesereformsarealsonotreinventingthewheel,theyareorganizationsthatare
backedupwithdataandprovidematerialsandanetworkoflikemindedpeopleto
discusswith.ButIalsothinkthatasIbecomeamoreexperiencedteacher,andlearn

moreaboutdifferentschoolwidereformsandfamiliarizemyself,Iwillstarttohavemy
owninterpretationsofwhatreformshouldlooklikeandIwillwanttoactonthat.Ithink
thatalocalreformimplementedeffectivelycouldbesobeneficialtomyfuturestudents
andwouldgivethemsuchaconnectiontotheirlocalcommunityandtheywillfeelmore
investedintheirlearning.
