In recent fashion, particularly from 2010 and onwards the fashion for
women has changed. It seems that 2010 was the year of the most change,
this is because Men in Hollywood left the baggy jeans and oversized shirts
behind and began wearing form of skinny jeans with high top sneakers.
The hairstyles became more unique featuring different length cuts and
facial hair changes. In 2010 The women either got ultra-long hair
extensions or cut the majority of their hair off and streaked it with wild
colours. The fashion for women and men (Especially women) has been
influenced by celebrities and the media. For example, vintage sports
brand sweater and trainers have made a comeback from 2014 to present.
With young women and teenagers wearing Adidas superstars, Stan smiths,
Adidas zx flux, file, reebok, Nike. Along with these brands, skinny jeans
and crop tops are still popular with the youth fashion. Celebrities such as
Kylie Jenner, the younger member of the Kardashian family have
influenced girls to wear certain types or brand clothing. This is normally
done on a social networking site known as Instagram which many
celebrities post photos of what they are wearing which can make a
difference in what girls would wear today .
When it comes down to female fashion there is much broader selection in
what to wear compared to boys as they mainly follow unique and famous
brands such as supreme, palace and top man clothes.
Magazines play a huge role in allowing celebrities to influence the way
that everyday people dress all the time, whether they are going to work,
going to the club, or going to the park to walk their dog. Magazines are
especially influential to teenage and preteen girls that aim to attract this
for example, Cosmo Girl, vogue and many more.
In high street fashion Young girls are looking for direction on how to act,
how to dress so they are looking for role models. Directions and role
models can be found in magazines. Teenage girls often look towards
magazines to figure out how they should dress, in particular, how they
should incorporate sexuality into their clothing, Therefore, the celebrities
featured in magazine can be very influential for young girls and young
women. Celebrities should be aware of this fact, that how they dress can
have a big influence on young girls and women. They should know that
this admiration and fame comes with a responsibility to teach young
women to love themselves and their bodies, and to respect themselves
and other women. Celebrities sometimes try and teach girls to dress in

ways that are attractive, but does not make them look like a sexual object
or a slut. From the research I haven done I have found that what
celebritys wear have a big impact in what people wear today , this is
because they both celebritys and non-celebrities have one thing in
common, they want to look nice in what they wear. People will also look at
photos on google images to see what outfits celebrities wear, here are
some below.
In my interview, I will be prerecording my interview in a location to find out
whether people do actually follow what celebrities when it comes down to high
street fashion and here will be my list of questions.

3 would you say the clothes you wear are influenced from what your friends wear

When recording my interview I will be doing it with a group of girls, these girls are
called Flo Hayne, Mia warren and jess tormo. These girls are 17/18 and are very
into fashion and keen in what they wear when they go out. I feel these girls will be
the best people when recording my interview as they will deliver good answer
from my questions as they know a lot about high street fashion and clothing
trends.

Key Facts: They are a popular American family. You have Kris Kardashian

who is the mother. Kourtney Kardashian who is the oldest sister out of the
5 girls and 1 brother, she is 36 years old with 2 children called Mason and
Penelope. She was dating Scott Disick who is the father of her children but
however he cheated on her and are no longer together.
You then have Kim Kardashian who is 34 years old, who is the 2nd oldest.
She is married to the famous rapper Kanye West they have a child called
North West and are expecting another child who she is planning on calling
Easton. Kim got the Kardashians famous by having a sex tape released
from a former boyfriend Ray J.
Next you have Khloe Kardashian the 3rd oldest she is 31. She was dating
Lamar Odom who is a famous basketball player, however they are always
on and off. However she has 0 children.
Next you have the only brother in the family Rob Kardashian, unlike the
others his first name doesnt start with a K. However he was named after
their father Rob Kardashian. Rob isnt as famous as his sisters he doesnt
really care about the fame. He is 28 years old.
You then have Kendall and Kylie Jenner the half-sisters of the Kardashian,
there father is Bruce Jenner now known as Caitlyn Jenner. Kendall is 19
and Kylie is 18 years old. Kendall models for Vogue, she's also included
with London and New York fashion week. Kendall and her sister Kylie have
a clothing range together called Pac Sun. Kylie Jenner is dating famous
rapper Tyga who's 25 years old. For her 18th birthday he brought her a
Ferrari however she crashed it the same day.
Caitlyn Jenner (Bruce) recently had a sex change and made a debuted as a
woman on front cover of a popular American magazine. Caitlyn is 65 years
old. He has won a gold medal in the Summer Olympics. She now has a TV
program called I am Cait about her journey after she became a woman
and how her family reacted.
The Kardashians have a popular TV show which is aired on E! Called

Keeping up with the Kardashians. Where you follow the family and see
what they are doing and all their drama. The 3 girls have had their own
shows together Kourtney and Khloe take Miami Khloe & Lamar
Kourtney and Kim take New York. The 3 girls also own their own clothing
line called Dash, which is a high end clothing range.
The Kardashians are very stylish you seem them at many famous events
such as The Brits etc. wearing glamourous dresses of expensive designers.
These dresses are all unique and only wore once.
Amber Rose has recently had an argument with the Kardashians sisters
about Kylie and Tyga dating because she has a child with Tyga. Kylies
whole family stuck up for her while Amber was spiteful to them all.

David beckham was born on 2nd of may 1975, hes a retired
professional footballer. Hes been married to Victoria beckham since
1999 and they have 4 kids together. They used to live In the
beckingham palace that they brought just after the wedding in
1999 for 2.5million its located in Hertfordshire. It sold for 12
million in 2013
There new house is 27 million and its a grade 2 listed country
house. There is enough have 380 football pitches on the land. The
river dikler runs through the land

to show their relationship is serious even tho theres over 30 years

many business. His new partner Nigora Whitehorn who is 35 is
dental practise receptionist that is now in a relationship with the exdragon den star
Anne Robinson is a English TV presenter she is 71 she has been
on many TV shows such as the weakest link and watchdog she has
turned her nose up at things like this before but if the rumours are
true it could be interesting
Will Mellor, is a British actor that has appeared on TV show such
as the white van man and two pints of larger and a packet of crisps.
He is 39 he posted a photo in the jungle attire on Instagram then
removed it very quickly
Caitlyn Jenner as she/he has been big in the news this year after
having a sex change and changed his name from Bruce Jenner that
used to be a American athlete and TV personal it will be very
controversial have him/her in there but would be interesting
Spencer Matthews hes one of the typical reality TV stars that
comes in to the jungle and fails at all the trails as hes a typical posh
boy hes on made in Chelsea or he could be the one that has
success
Gemma Collins is rumoured to go back in after last year walking
out after only a few days she made some of the most memorable
moments of 2014 she is a star from the only way is Essex

Dappy wants to go in to boost him profile as a solo performer

has been asked to go in the jungle many times and has declined but
this year there is a chance he will now hes not a judge he might go

Interview 4: Celebrity makeup tricks

Make up has been around for centuries in which people use these
cosmetics to enhance or change their appearance. Over the
decades, certain make up looks and products have changed over
time. During the Egyptian era the use of kohl pencil was used
around the eyes to make them appear larger, it is still used today in
looks but may look a lot different as to how it was originally used.
The makeup industry brings in around 7.1 billion across all make
up companies.
Celebrities are the focus of fashion and make up. Many styles and
designs worn by celebrities influence peoples fashion and make up
in everyday life. There are many techniques used in order to recreate popular looks. For example, the contoured and highlighted
glow along with Smokey eyes is a popular look mainly associated
with the Kardashian/ Jenner family.
Bronzer wasnt popular until the 2010s in which it gives the look of
tan without actually having the tan in the sun. It is used by many
living in the western hemisphere. This particular product can come
in a powder or liquid and can come in a matte and semi matte
finish. Highlighter was used around the same time to draw attention
to certain parts of the face. This product can come as a baked

powder, liquid or a cream.

The main focus of this looks is the cheekbones and jawline in which
make up artists will use bronzer to go over the cheekbones, jawline,
both sides of the nose, neck and forehead to make certain features
appear smaller. For the highlighting a highlighter is used along the
bridge of your nose, apples of your cheeks, centre of the chin,
centre of your forehead, just below your brow bone and . This can
make certain features of the face appear more elongated with a
brighter and healthier appearance. After this has been achieved,
using a sponge or brush to blend it all in together.

I will be interviewing Chloe due to her knowledge and experience of
the makeup industry. She works for Yves Saint Laurent and is a
makeup artists. Working for a popular and well known high end
cosmetics company, Chloe can easily master celebrity make up
looks and transformations due to her knowledge and skills of
working with YSL.
