TC111: Serve as a leader in your own area of expertise

Driving can be an easy task once learned. But learning how to drive while shifting
gears can be very difficult. It is a task that can be very useful and if you are good at
it you can even save on gas mileage. Though it may take awhile to get used to it, it
can help you in the long run.
I took a trip to Silver Lake Sand Dunes with my friends in October of 2015. We took
my truck and one of my friends truck. I have a 1987 Dodge Raider with a manual
transmission and my friend has a 2001 Chevy Silverado. My friends really wanted
to try and learn how to drive a stick shift so we parked my friends vehicle and all got
in my truck. I showed them, with my hands, how their feet should move on the
clutch and the gas pedal. They would start to move their feet and I would have to
tell them to give it more gas. In all of this fun, I got to show off one of my skills.
As a young adult, I will need to teach some of my peers a skill and explain into
detail on how to do it. They will be asking questions and I will have to answer them.
As a plastics engineer, an intern will want to know how the career is. I will have to
answer their questions and make sure they are answered correctly.
