To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Lori Armstrong and I am a teacher and Director of Student Activities /
Student Council advisor at H. B. Beal Secondary School. I am very pleased to provide one
of my student leaders, Matthew McWilliam, with a letter of recommendation. I have
known Matthew since September of 2012 when he became involved with Student
Council. Although I have only known Matthew for a few years, I am confident in saying
that he is an outgoing, friendly, dedicated, and compassionate young man. I am pleased
to have had the opportunity to work with Matthew and I look forward to continuing
that work.
As a member of Student Council, Matthew has been responsible for planning,
organizing, promoting, and facilitating a variety of events and activities for the Beal
student body. His work is always consistent, professional and of the highest caliber as
evidenced by his continued presence on the Honour Roll. Matthew is well respected by
both staff and students.
In addition to his many extra-curricular commitments at school, Matthew spends many
hours volunteering in the community and working with Scouts Canada. Matthew is a
committed, hardworking, and energetic young man and he makes an excellent addition
to any team. I cannot say enough about this young man. He is an incredible young
person and I know that he will make an excellent contribution to any workforce.
