Dear Southwest Airlines:
I am writing this letter in concerns about my last flight I atteneded on Southwest Airlines.
It was flight 727 departing from Singapore, and arriving in Sydney on April 12th. During
this flight I was seated in seat 13B. I had many problems on this flight that I would like to
discuss and make solutions for what took place.
I will start with my experience at the gate. The flight crew was seen waiting at the gate
for the plane to arrive so they could prepare the plane. They were being extremely loud
while waiting laughing and shouting out jokes to each other. It was not a reassuring sign
to see the flight crew act like this before the flight.
While boarding a rowdy family who seemed to be all intoxicated made a scene walking
to there seats, while falling into some people on the way. This family happened to sit
behind me. I asked one flight attendant if I could move to the open seat five rows in front
of me but she said it was not allowed. The family behind me did not hesitate to stop being
obnoxiously loud during the entire flight and decide it would be okay to take their shoes
of and hang them around their row. The stench was horrible and it lingered throughout
the middle half of the plane. I tried to read but the smell of their feet and the altitude
sickness that I deal with on every plane ride didnt allow me to read. When I asked the
people behind me to put their feet down, they did it. However they did not put their shoes
back on because the smell never left the cabin.
It is important that your airline enforces a rule so that people have to keep their shoe on at
all times of the flight. This in return will make the passengers ride more enjoyable and
your airlines will have better reviews. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,

Kevin ODonnell
