Q. Tell me about yourself.

A: Well, My name is Bijaya Sagar Lamichhane, my date of birth is 16th of October 1992.
I studied Hospitality Management for the past 5 years from intermediate level to
bachelor and I want to be entrepreneur in this field. Under the circumstances, I am
currently working in QFX Cinemas which is Venture Company of Team Quest, that
invest and looks the management of Hospitality & Real state sector in Nepal.
Q. Where will you be studying and what course will you be studying?

A: I will be studying a 1 years Graduate Certificate in International Business in Neils


Brock Copenhagen Business College.
Q. What is the course start date please?

A: The course start date is 19th of January 2016. (Ends: 16th December 2016)
Q. What is total cost of 1 semester for your course?

A: My purposed course cost DKK 45,000 for its first semester.


Q. How much and when do you have to pay next installment for your
semester fee?

A: I have to pay DKK 40,000 for second semester in July 2016.


Q. Why did you choose to do this course?

A: I chose this course because having a degree in International Business will help me to
prepare for admission in Masters Level and this degree will give me the skills and
expertise to be a entrepreneur in future.
Q. What do you know about your course?

A: Pre-Master Graduate Certificate in International Business (GCIB) is 1 year full time


course offered by De Montfort University, Leicester UK in Neils Brock, which strengthen
knowledge and skills of student to prepare for admission at Masters Level. This is level
6 course which has 2 semester, in first semester there are 3 subjects and in 2nd
semester there are 4 subjects.

Q. Why did you choose this particular institution?

A: Upon research, I came to the conclusion that the courses offered by this college for
international students has designed and developed to turn out all level of graduates.
Beside this, It is one of oldest and largest business institution in Denmark.

A: Neils Brock Copenhagen Business College, simply referred as Neils Brock, is


secondary school in Copenhagen, Denmark which was founded in 1881. This college is
result of merger between two different institution; Copenhagen Business College & The
Brockian Business School which were both founded in 1880s. This is largest business
college in Denmark.
Q. What do you know about De Montfort University?

A: De Montfort University (DMU) is public research and teaching university situated in


Leicester, UK which was established in 1870 as Leicester School of Art and gained
university status in 1992. DMU is ranked 54th by Times University ranking for 2015.
The 70% research of university was deemed world leading and internationally
excellent in 2008.
Q: Where is your institution located?

A: Neils Brock Copenhagen Business College is located in Nrre Voldgade: Central


Denmark.
Q. Why did you chose Denmark for your study?

A: Well, I did research on this topic and found Denmark is one of the best study
destination for international students for higher education. Most of the universities in
Denmark are recognized for high performance and standard. Teachers of Denmark are
known for their friendly behavior and the learning programs are also have been found
very effective, compared to any other European country.
Q. How much does it cost in total to live in Denmark for 1 month?

A: Living in Denmark is costly high, it costs like DKK 4500 to DKK 5500 per month for
all expenses.
Q. Who is main sponsor of your study?

A: My Parents are my sponsor for my study, specially my uncle and auntie is doing
sponsor for my all expenses.
Q. What is your parents source of Income?

A: Well, my father is working as Marketing Officer in Manpower company. And my uncle


is lecturer of Sociology in High School at my hometown. And my untie is running our
private boarding school in our hometown, which was founded by my uncle and untie in
2003.
Q. Where will you be living during your studies?

A: I will be sharing an accommodation with my friend, who is currently staying and


studying in Copenhagen.

Q. How does your purposed course of study linked to your previous study?

A: I studied hospitality management at university which is combination of Hotel,


Tourism and Management. I had some management courses in my BSC HCM syllabus.
As I wanted to be Hospitality entrepreneur in future, my purposed course of study will
develop the management education as well as managerial skills, and this will help me to
run my own business in Hospitality field in future.
Q. Do you have any plans to travel while you are studying in Denmark?

A: As a student of Hospitality Management, Ive always been keen interested to travel


to new places. In my first priority, I am planning to visit the tourist destination The
Danish Riviera, Aahrus; one of the happiest city in the world and West Zealand: The
Land of Vikings.
Q. How did you find out about your institution before applying?

A: When I planned to join Business course in Copenhagen, I did online study and I
found Neils Brock is one of the good place to study my purposed subject. And I took
help of education consultancy for document processing.
Q. Do you have any relatives or friends staying there? Can you tell me what
they do and where they live?

A: Yes, I have one friend, his name is Sunstar Shrestha, with whom I will be sharing
accommodation for few months. He is studying AP degree in Service, Hospitality &
Tourism Management in Kge Campus in Copenhagen.
Q. What are your future plans after completing your study?

A: Well, after completion of my study, I intend to apply for Job which is related to my
educational background and start putting my academic knowledge into practical. After
gaining experience, I will back to my country and start my own business in my home
town.
Q. What type of business you are planning to do in future?

A: I am from Far-Western Region of Nepal, which is assumed as very rural and poor
area of this country. People call it Sudur Paschim that means Very Far Wes but we
call our place as Sundar Sudur Paschim. That means Beautiful Far-West Because
most of the people are unknown about the true treasure hidden there. And that
treasure is various undiscovered tourist destination of Far West. I specially want to
promote Khaptad as tourist destination which is piece of the heaven left on this earth.
I and my friends from same education background are planning to run business which
will promote the tourist destination of far west and provide all the component of
tourism in that place: Accessibility, Accommodation & Amenities to domestic and
international tourists. We specially want to focus on Health tourism in Khaptad because
Khaptad is renowned for its ecosystem, flora and fauna.

Q. What do you know about Copenhagen?

A: Copenhagen is capital city and most populated city of Denmark. Copenhagen was
founded as fishing village in 10th Century and became capital city of Denmark and
Norway in early 15th century. Since 21st century Copenhagen has been strongly
developed in urban and cultural field because of major investment made in institution
and infrastructure. Copenhagen is happiest place in the world because of its quality of
living. It has stable economy in education services and social safety for both local and
international citizens. Although it is one of the most expensive city in the world, it is
also one of the most livable with its facilities of public transport and environment
policies.
Q. What do you know more about Denmark?

A: The Kingdome of Denmark is sovereign country in Northern Europe bordered with


Germany. People of Denmark in 8th century were known as Vikings. Vikings were the
people who colonized, raided, traded and conquered in most of part in Europe. People
of Denmark are considered as happiest people in the world. Denmark has highest
employment rate in Europe (75%). Denmark is expected as world class education for
higher level study in various field of such as engineering, business, social science and IT
and Hospitality.
Q. Why are you not studying in your own country or in India? Why did you
choose Denmark for your study?

A: As a matter of fact, tourism activities was emerged from European country, people of
Europe travelled across the world to trade. Their movement created an opportunity in
Hospitality Industry. Similarly, in present days European have been discovering new
techniques of Hospitality business. So, most of the hospitality students prefer to study
in European country, and Denmark is one of the best place for study as well as learn
new techniques of tourism business.
The interviewer types all your answer in computer so, you have to speak slowly with
stopping in where your sentence ends. S/He will give you typed copy of answer to
make correction. Feel free to ask and make correction of your spoken answer in the
second last column of sheet. Sign the mock questionnaire and answer sheet and
give it to interviewer.
