my background, education and experience.

Recognizing my strengths as a self-starter, I began, owned and operated a successful

home cleaning business for over 19 years, utilizing my skills in scheduling, organization,
and careful record keeping. During 12 of those years I was also involved with United
Cerebral Palsy as a respite care-giver for handicapped children and young adults.

Following this I was involved in the management of a personal in-home care position for
6 ½ years. As director, I was in charge of between 2-3 employees; their training and
scheduling as well as the day to day responsibilities needed to keep the home, employees
and activities running in a smooth and efficient manner. I am detail-oriented; thorough,
organized, have the ability to see a problem and use creative thought to find solutions to
those situations, and always finish what I start; which includes two associate degrees;
Family Studies/Human Services and Nutrition. I effectively used all of these skills in this
position.

Artistic gardening and display designs are my passions. This love of gardening and
design has followed me throughout my life, as I have developed flower gardens and
created visual marketing displays, not only for myself, but for friends and clients as well.
All of my homes and grounds have been in immaculate condition.
