The aim of this subject is that the basics for the calculation and detailing of the main structural elements, after the Indian Standard should be introduced. This standard is to be introduced as obligatory for structural design in all IS member states. In this subject we will study the models for examination of the ultimate and the serviceability limit states in the critical sections and the regions of the elements and the detailing principles will be exercised on specific elements.
