I am currently the Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and Virginia Area Council Treasurer and Local 747 Treasurer. As treasurer, over the last 10 years, Ive become proficient with: QuickBooks, Microsoft Office suite and standard financial practices, including management of unions dues and other funds, audit compliance and required federal forms. At our early 2015 negotiation, I presented a PowerPoint plan to reduce employee costs for healthcare. We successfully negotiated a 5% decrease. As a local and regional treasurer, I now look forward to serving as your next AWPPW Secretary Treasurer and am very proud to accept the endorsement of retiring Secretary Treasurer, Jim Hassey, as he knows I am the right person for the position. It is my goal to be your AWPPW Secretary Treasurer for the next 10 years. If elected, I plan on relocating to the Portland area immediately, as I know the challenges that lie ahead, especially with the upcoming 2016 conventions, I will have to hit the ground running.
