REFLECTIVE JOURNAL

Evaluating the course and our instructor for this semester for the subject ECE 401
Signals, Spectra, Signal Processing, I can say that its not sound so good and able-bodied.
It is because of the rumors about the subject and the instructor who handle this course.
Later on Ive realized that the rumors are wrong and she also said to us that people will
judge you no matter what you do. She keeps reminding us about her consultation hours for
those student who have a question or clarification and too shy to ask her inside the
classroom. She is passionate when it comes to teaching because she really cares about her
student by considering all the student as her friend which is unusual when it comes in
college. Shes so
Another thing is she keeps motivating us to pursue our studies no matter what
happen, shes telling us things we should keep in our mind to have a positive mindset in life.
She always share her experience and lessons in life even though it consumes our lecture
time its worth it because we have learned so many thing not only on this course but also in
life, reminding us that when it comes to industry its not the grade that matters most its all
about attitude.
Later on, theres a rumor about our batch that were cheating and weve got all the
Problem set and quizzes of the student who is already done on this course. Were shocked
when we heard the stories we ignored it but we didnt expect that our instructor in this knew
about it and the rumors is our group are the mastermind of all dishonesty acts. We admit
that sometimes were asking for the question that shown up on quiz on the other section but
we did it once and theres no more after. Weve talk to her and defend ourselves and were
glad that even though she knew it shes still believing and gave us an advice.
When it comes to project, her demands makes it hard and honestly speaking I didnt
expect that our project in this course is doesnt meet the required operations and this is the
first time that I give up on a making a project on a particular course due to lack of time,
knowledge and resources. This course made me realize that there so many things that I still
dont know which is good to make me a better student and I think after this semester were
ready for the stress next semester because weve already endured all the stress in this
semester in majority of this course. I enjoyed very much taking this course.
