Veterinarian Assistant- Kresin Veterinary Clinic, Shelbyville, KY
8/14/14-7/31/15
When in school I worked twenty hours a week, and when not in school I worked forty. I did a
wide range of tasks at the clinic, anywhere from feeding boarders, to cleaning, restraining
animals during annual visits, sitting in during surgeries, and post-surgical care of animals.

ACTIVITIES:

Alpha Gamma Delta- Being a member of this Panhellenic Sorority offers the
opportunity to make connections with leaders on campus, and to partake in various
community service events.
Girls in Engineering Math and Science, Leader- For three years I was a part of this
club that advocated to younger girls, primarily fifth graders, that being engaged in the
STEM field was cool and accepted for girls too. We brought girls to our high school and
did cool experiments and built things with them so that they could see that in person.
National FFA Organization, Vice President (14-15), Sentinel (13-14)- Being involved
through FFA gave me the opportunity to gain speaking skills where I competed all the
way up to a state level, I also gained leadership skills, due to having to manage a team
because of my officer roles, and was given the chance to work with business leaders and
political leaders.
