Using QR Codes inside the classroom
Standards:
STEM-DE-11 Create a digital project that displays mastery of the standards involved with
electronics.

Essential Question:
How can QR codes be used to help students learn about different pictures from important
parts of their life?
Work Session
1. Students are to make a cube from the supplies provided.
2. Materials of pictures related to the lesson can be put online and QR codes will be put on the
cube
3. Students will scan the codes and relate the pictures to the lesson

Materials/Resources/ Technology
Materials to make a Cube such as paper and tape
QR codes
Scanner (Can be found on most smartphones)
Assessment
After the project is finished the teacher can get there students to get into to groups and discuss
their pictures. After the discussion the teachers may then ask specific questions related to the
lesson to see if the students obtained what was trying to be taught, with this lessons idea being
what are these pictures and why are they important.
