Instructions: Use the following picture cards to help ELL students
memorize academic vocabulary related to the discussion of important
Greek and Roman architectural achievements. Use the following
activity to assess their proficiency at understanding those words.
Task 1.
Instructions (teacher says): I am going to tell you what the bank looks
like. I am going to use the vocabulary we learned to talk about Greek
and Roman architecture. Listen carefully and draw what you hear.

Task. 2
Instructions (teacher says): Great job! This time I am going to tell you
what the library looks like. I am going to use some of the same words
and some different words this time. Listen carefully and try to draw
what I say as best as you can.
