David: We’ve been on the road since uh, since Valentine’s Day and I’ve really tried to come up with like
eloquent, well-spoken ways to introduce some of these songs and I’ll be dipped in shit if some of them
just don’t, don’t work that way [shrugs], so this next song is about an ex-girlfriend who, at the moment

David: Saw you. [David laughs, crowd laughs as some of the Idols make their way through the crowd to
the stage] So we’re gonna do a cover right now of a, uh of a song we, we started doing on the first leg of
this tour. We did a lot of colleges to start this gig and uh, we wanted to do a song that, you know,
showed uh, showed our appreciation for educational professionals and uh, principals, administrators –
and teachers, really.

[Intro for Hot for Teacher starts. Before he starts to sing, Dave stops and looks out at crowd]. [loud
cheers]

David: All right, Los Angeles, all right, okay. Hold on – everybody be quiet for a second, everybody be
quiet.

[holding left hand up in the air]

David: See this hand, this hand right here? When this hand drops I want to hear how loud this room

David: So we’re gonna be just a second uh, the setlist has one more song. But I’ll be damned, I don’t
wanna go anywhere so we’re gonna put another one on, if that’s cool with you all. If not, tough shit,
we’re doin’ it anyway so…. And while I, while we’re getting’ to that, I do want to say thank you , very
seriously, to uh, to all the guys from Idol who came out tonight. That means a lot. I haven’t seen you
guys in a long time, so if you see Ramielle’s four foot eight sticking out from under the crowd [he says in
a high pitched voice] like “I’m here”. It’s very nice. She got a shirt! I didn’t know they made them in
infant sizes. That’s very cute. Awww, love you! [to Ramielle]
