How did you attract/address your audience?

By using an attractive female lead, typically young males

are drawn in and females are inspired or can
emphasise. Males can also emphasise with the age
factor. It is a typically chilling storyline and it plays on
everyday teenagers fears, being followed by a group of
people and isolated. Also an advantage of using
everyday settings that are local chills the audience even
more as they can relate more to the whole scene.

I think our
audience will be attracted to our film as
because we as the creators can understand
our target audience, we could get a grip on
everyday fears and display them all at once.
The sharp transitions and uncomfortable
sounds will keep the audience on the edge
and hopefully give them to adrenaline rush
most horror film goers desire. We tried to
also use shocking images, or extreme close
ups of faces with bruising or bodies to
emphasise and horrify the audience to the fullest extent possible. Eyes especially
as they have the ability to reflect the weakness or fear of the character
automatically.

We used our shots to try to address the

audience and give points of view of a
stalker following the female protagonist.
We also tried to give angles and shots
that gave the impression she was being watched from a distance like in the
woods.

Our audience witness the journey home of a typical young girl, whilst being
unwarily followed by two or more (it’s not immediately known) males, with their
heads down throughout the piece. By not showing any of their faces until the
actual attack has an impact on the audience, as a large fear is the unknown and
unfamiliarity of the attacker. Therefore, the opening two minutes contain a lot of
flashes so that the audience becomes hooked into it, to try and work out a
mystery. The film becomes puzzle like and attracts the audience to continue
watching.
