Naming Shapes
The topic was introduced using a notebook file containing 2D and 3D
shapes. Children go through and name each shape.

Shape Owl
From prior testing most students in the class were able to name 2D shapes.
After all the shapes in the notebook file had been labelled students got to
complete a Shape Owl activity. The activity was modelled to the class. The
instructions were left on the board as a reference to students.
