Dear Ms. Densmore,
I am writing to you today because I have learned that you are in need
of a Field Construction Coordinator through the NDSU Career Center. I have
been interested in joining the energy side of construction and you were one
of the first companies that caught my eye during my job search. I have just
graduated from NDSU in the Construction Management field and I am
currently looking for my career opportunity out of college.
Ever since I started my degree my parents have encourage me to work
in the energy field because energy will never lose business and that is a field
that I would love to get into. With Blattner Energy being a branch of D.H.
Blattner & Sons it would be a fantastic way to get into a strong company that
knows what there are doing. In the past I have been responsible for some of
the accounting tasks, communication with subcontractors, and organize the
steps of dirt work and concrete projects. I also have a general knowledge of
most labor knowledge so I can be a helpful hand if I am needed too. While
working with Virgil Leih I would work over 80 hours a week. During those 80
hours of work I worked on plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other fields of
construction.
I would like to go more in depth about my past experiences and discuss
a potential time for an interview and tour of the company. I look forward to
