I am writing to express my interest in the co-op position that Dow Inc. offers to students in high
school. I believe the success I have had in both high school and college classrooms will transfer easily
to a working environment. My experience working in the summer months will also be beneficial as I
look to expand my skills in a large corporate environment.

I will work hard and use the same passion I have while completing assignments in school to complete
any assignment I may be given at Dow. I’m a team player and am very flexible. I also have experience
with several online programs which may be beneficial in this position. My summer job and college
courses have taught me time management and dependability, which I will leverage to be a very
dependable employee in the workforce. 

I am also interested in career paths that are offered through Dow. As a result, being able to work for
the company and observe other workers will give me a chance to explore these career desires. I also
believe that I am ready to move on from traditional schooling to learning how to apply myself in a real
working environment. I believe it is an amazing opportunity to learn how to be an employee in the real
world. I want to learn how to be an employee that not only does their assigned work, but also what
makes an employee stand out in terms of quality work.
