Brief Description:
This assignment for Educational Psychology was to write about what I believe the
philosophy of education is. The topics I had to write about for this paper was my reasoning for
wanting to be a teacher, my pedagogy, and methodology of teaching.
Rationale:
To document my understanding of InTASC Standard 5, Application of Content, I had to
go in depth thought on how to teach properly. I understand that every student learns, thinks, and
behaves differently. I believe for a student to understand certain content then a he/she needs to be
involved in real world situations. My philosophy explains that students need to be engaged,
socialized, creative, encouraged, and motivated to learn in this society.
