Brief Description:
This assignment for Exceptional Child is to write about what we learned about our
personal experience with spending time with a child with a disability compared to what is stated
in the textbook. Explaining the behavior of the child, parent, and the environment the child lives
in.
Rationale:
To document my understanding of InTASC Standard 2, Learning Differences, I engaged
on a professional learning experience with a child and parents. I observed and evaluated the
child, parents, environment, disciplinary skills and teaching, behaviors, and much more. I
understood the many difference this child had to others and myself. This experience showed me
more understanding on how environment plays a large role in a students learning.
