We have come to a point where technology in the classroom is not only advisable, but necessary for students to keep up with the rest of the world. However, this use of technology in the classroom is not a right, but a privilege. With all privileges, rules must be followed or else these privileges are revoked. In order to participate in online activities, students must oblige by the following rules: 1. Students will only visit websites that they have been instructed to use, unless permission has been granted by Mr. Flores 2. Students will not have food or drink in the computer lab/ near or around classroom computers 3. Students will use computers for education purposes unless given permission by Mr. Flores to use computer for leisure activities. 4. If students are unsure of websites, apps, or programs, they will immediately ask Mr. Flores or the computer lab instructor. 5. Students will not download any files online 6. Students will not be logged on into any student account except their own. If a student before you forgot to log out, you must log out of their account and proceed to log in to your own. Students will need to follow these rules or face possibilities of classroom technology privileges becoming suspended or revoked. If students and parents agree with these rules in place, please sign on the lines below and have student return this page to Mr. Flores. For any further questions, please contact me at my email in the above right hand corner of this page. Sincerely, Marcos Flores __________________________
