How to make a Friendship Rope Bracelet


Since, Christmas is fast approaching; you might want to give something to
your friends. If youre out of budget, the friendship bracelet is the perfect one to
give to your friends. Not only your saving money but this will also have some
sentimental value for you are the one who made it.

Materials:

4 color embroidery strings

Small piece of cardboard
Compass
Pencil
Pair of Scissors

Procedure:

1. Make a simple bracelet loom


Make a circle on the cardboard using the compass
b. Cut it with the use of the pair of scissors
c. Mark the center of the circle
d. Make 8 little lines on the edge of the circle that divide the circle into
8 equal section
e. Take the scissors and make short cuts (0.5 inch) along the line

Push the tip of the pencil to the center of the circle to get a little
hole

Cut 4 pieces of embroidery strings (25 inches)
Fold the strings in halves and knot them together
Cut the one string coming in out of the knot to have only 7 strings
Push the loop and the knot through the center of the cardboard

e. Randomly arrange the strings around the circle by placing them
into the cuts
f. Since there are 8 cuts and 7 strings, the empty cut will be the guide
g. Face the empty cut towards you
h. Take the third string to the right of the empty cut
i. Place it on the empty cut
j. Repeat (instruction g-i) according to your desired length
k. Release all the strings from the cut and take it off from the loom
l. Make a little knot to secure your work
3. Secure the bracelet
a. Choose a string that matches the color of your button
b. Slide the button as close to the knot
c. Make a few knots to secure it on its place
d. Cut all the excess strings away
