Motivation Letter

My Name is Syed Zain Mehdi and I am 23 years old. I am a graduate in mechatronics and control
engineering from UET Lahore. Since my childhood I have always been fascinated by Robots and AI
related stuff. My choice of opting for Mechatronics was also a link in the chain as it is closely related to
robotics. I am a very good programmer too thats why I thought it most feasible to grab the opportunity
provided by EFPL. EFPL stands out as one of the premiere research institutes and could provide me with
the chance of widening my vision to explore further research avenues being explored these days.
Switzerland as it stands out as one of the most beautiful countries in the world is best suited to motivate
oneself to pursue research and development and be part of a rich culture. Moreover my initial
qualification is best suited to pursue further research in AI.
I know I am a fresh graduate and will have to compete with minds way superior than me. I may not have
the legacy of a rich experience nor and excellent or extra ordinary educational background, but I am
work hungry. I have a go in me and want to do something of substantial importance not only for the
institute but also for my country. I want a profile thats stands out above all and for that I think the
opportunity EFPL is providing could be a door opener for me.
Provided the chance of being recruited I could not only shower benefit on my personal portfolio but
could transfer the knowledge and experience gained to coming graduates too. Keeping all the given
information in mind I am sure that I would be considered for the prestigious opportunity.
