Stevens,
My partner, Khalid Elhag, and I have chosen to tackle a problem that effects
children, young adults, and office workers- uncomfortable tables. As students and
administrators are confined to sitting in school for at least thirty hours a week,
many of us have experienced some discomfort due to undersized tables. After
recognizing this problem Khalid and I decided to design a table that is not only
height adjustable, but also easily storable.
We have researched similar ideas such as the foldable beach chair, the
collapsible cup, and even the folding table. All of these products that we have
researched had similar properties we wanted our table to have however none one
had everything we wanted ours to have. As an engineering and welding teacher we
found you to be a great advisor for advice and suggestions in regard to what
materials would be most effective to the overall design of the product. Thank you
