Project Stakeholders

A project is successful when it achieves its objectives and meets or exceeds the expectations of the
stakeholders. But who are the stakeholders? Stakeholders are individuals who either care about or
have a vested interest in your project. They are the people who are actively involved with the work
of the project or have something to either gain or lose as a result of the project. According to the
Project Management Institute (PMI), the term project stakeholder refers to, an individual, group,
or organization, who may affect, be affected by, or perceive itself to be affected by a decision,
activity, or outcome of a project (Project Management Institute, 2013). Project stakeholders are
entities that have an interest in a given project.
These stakeholders may be inside or outside an organization of which for Ogea Vijana Web

Project Measurable Organizational Value (MOV)

The purpose of the Ogea Vijana Web Creators Project is to develop a user-friendly Web site. This
Web site is intended to provide information to boys and girls between the ages of six and eighteen
who are interested in joining the swim team.
The elements that provide value to the guide service is the website itself and we can measure its
value based on how many members views/open the website. The cost is very cheap compared to the
estimated benefit. Right now the associations of parents are reaching people through word of
mouth and once the website is launched the website can reach millions of people The project will be
done using a HTML, Java and Active Server Pages [ASP] and other web tools.
